Okay, I hope I'm not the only one, but I've never seen this device before:

If I understood it correctly it is an external box with it's own power supply and a 26pin header inside, so you could theoretically use every waveblaster compatible daughterboard with it and connect it via the midi in on its back with your computer. And there is a Line-out and an amplified Speaker-out! And they sell it ! Furthermore you can buy additional DREAM based daughterboards with 4MB and 32MB (!) ROM. Could this be true? Unfortunately I can't speak or read Thai, but perhaps someone else can, or does at least know, own or use this "S-BOX"?

Looks nice, and if I converted the currency correctly, the box alone costs ~100 Euro, which is not very expensive if the unit is well built. I reckon the parts for a similar DIY homemade box would amount at least to half of that.

Yeah, it seems cheap if you compare it with a professional unit (are the miditemp multiplayers / multistations also able to carry every waveblaster compatible daughterboard? http://www.miditemp.com/english/products.html )

Yet if it lacks the sound quality, it's not worth 100 euros.

On the other hand, building such a thing by yourself demands some knowledge; well, there are some who did it:
To save the daughterboards!

...but I doubt that my limited abilities will be sufficient (I allways become kind of destructive with a soldering gun in my hands... 😉)
