I have a voodoo 1 video card that at some point seemed to develop a RAM problem... ie the textures look all wrong colors/wrong data on there and such, yet it was working before.

Now i'm pretty sure bad just means... bad. But i'm wondering if there are any 'tricks' anyone knows (sorta like there's those list of tricks to revive a dead hard drive) of that might be relevant to see whether it's really bad ram, or to test the RAM on the video card, or what else it might be. I hate to just pitch it in the garbage. 🙁 Other than maybe heating it (i'm not sure how much) or cooling it (i'm not sure how much, and worried of condensation) or something that might not be bad RAM but a single component that may be failing or showing some problem (perhaps isolatable and replaceable? i'd solder a single resistor or diode if thats all it was) that I could narrow it down to what it is...
