I was trying to set up Win98 and VDMSound for it. Decided to just try out TIE Fighter without sound to see if the SVGA would work. Nope, it's a corrupted mess. You can sort of see the game (it doesn't lock up either) but it's like you're seeing slices of the screen all stretched out....very odd.
I'm guessing this is ATI's notoriously poor VESA. Go read reviews of some of their old cards if you want examples of this.
Anyone know of a VESA software that fixes up Radeons? This is a laptop so I'm sort of stuck with the Radeon 9600 in it.
