I’ve picked up two RS232 WiFi Modems from Arcane byte and want to see if I can get a multiplayer game going.

Using terminal I’ve been able to connect one modem to the other using the BBS TCP listener on one and dialing the IP and port from the other. Once connected each side can see the ASCII sent from one to the other but I haven’t been able to get any game to work either in a call/answer setting or by connecting the two first through terminals and selecting “already connected.”

I’ve gotten the calling side to see a “CONNECT” response and launch into the game but the answering side acts like nothing has happened and still shows waiting for a call.

I’ve also tried connecting them through terminals and then trying a null modem game. So far no luck.

Anyone tried this before?
