Hi people, I'm new in this foro, so please to meet you all. I'm not sure it it's the correct place to post this subject, but here we go...
I've recently bought a V30 pc, mounting in Spain by a company called INVES. The model is X30 plus. I can't put in a working condition, when I turn it on, a long beep follow by two short beeps tell me that the bios is working.
I don't have any information about the motherboard, so I can't fiddling with jumpers (very few) but I supposed that the error may be the graphic card or a memory error. I tested it with several graphics cards that work in other pc's with no change. I replace all the 640 KB chips, no change.
There is a little corrosion near the battery,
but it seems that doesn't affect the motherboard.
The -12v track to the isa slot was broken, but I fixed.
I'm running out of ideas, so I would be very grateful if you can help me.
The motherboard has 3 isa slots and a riser card. The chipset is from ACER. It's a 640 KB V30 powered. Lo and Hi bioses ( I find the bios for this motherboard but it's exactly the same that I have). It has support for floppy disk, XT-IDE hard drive, supports VGA graphic card and have a parallel and serial port.
I'll send you some photos of it.
Please if you have any information about the configuration of the motherboard or you know how to make it work, I would be very grateful.
