Hi everybody
Since Dosbox version 0.65, I've been using a DOS menuing system called Automenu, which is written by Marshall W Magee. I choose this option instead of running a frontend because it's simpler and more reliable in the long term (I thought so anyway). It simply means that wherever Dosbox is, the menu system will also work along with the games/applications. It's also much more portable, I can move the DOS collection around with the menu system for faster usage.
I've never had any problem with this menuing program, but it doesn't work correctly under 0.70 or the latest CVS. The problem itself is rather bizarre. The system uses the arrow keys to navigate. If I press an arrow key, it seems to lock down in Dosbox and cycle through the entries at a very rapid rate. I can only stop it by using the number keys and quitting the program. Oddly enough, when I run it again from the command-line, it doesn't do it. It also doesn't do it if I open it manually. It only happens when I run it from autoexec.bat
The CVS edition of Dosbox as of the 9th of September, 2006 did not suffer this problem. I only noticed it when I upgraded to 0.70. Given the short period of time since this error occurred, I was wondering if anybody knew what development issue could of resulted in this problem? It seems rather odd to me.
Thanks
Pan
