I found this while digging in a recycling store, for $1 I was curious to see what it might do. None of the searching on model numbers or chips on the board has turned up anything useful. Has anyone seen something like this?

They look (and count) like 40pin to me.

The left hand header is even silkscreened as IDE1.

yes and the right one says IDE2, the AMIC 290011TL is a "128K X 8 Bit CMOS 5.0 Volt-only Boot Sector Flash Memory"
My guess is it is an odd IDE or RAID add-on controller so the input might be the J1 or J2...
We need to see what the chip is under the QC / Pass sticker.
