I just tested unreal in 3dfx-glide mode on v2-sli and I have to say I prefer R128pro OGL in Macos-Classic (9.0.1) more.
The colors look so much better on rage128pro...that is a real shame that 3dfx lacks color-range. I should check if detail-textures work on rage, but only 16MB Vram would be a problem...we will see...

It wouldn't matter because it's a feature designed for 4mb Voodoo Graphics cards. There is also a visual difference between multitexturing and not (V2 is darker as it puts the detail into the lightmap pass). OpenGLDrv and D3DDrv also handle detail textures differently, even across versions of Unreal (it wasn't there at all on earlier OpenGLDrv)
