Hi Folks!

Last week I bought a D9820-60009 rev 0X-AA (from a Vectra VL400) motherboard with i815 chipset .
I would like to know if its AGP port is compatible with a Voodoo 3 2000. I know that this port is "universal" but im not really sure if both 1.5v and 3.3v are supported

Hope anyone of you guys could give me a hand with this

Thanks!

That AGP port should be compatible with a Voodoo 3. I'd actually be surprised if it wasn't.
No idea how standard your motherboard is btw.

Tank you!

It's very fine IBM compatible if you ignore the 50 pin bus connector + DC out for the optional 2x ISA card, the 5 pin data connector for the internal UPS option (the original power supply has a 3 pin connector for rectified mains in/out), the (by that time) nonstandard CD audio connector, the mysterious red power LED, the missing (nonstandard?) additional power socket, or the "drm" on the power supply (short pins 1 and 3 of its fan connector, which btw doesn't output power) 😁

Of course it's much nicer with the original case, which makes everything (except optical drives) line up neatly with the connectors, byt then you have a non-standard power supply, maybe some day I'll make a FTX adapter frame!

Easily the most satisfying PC I've ever owned (being my first personal one, bought in 2005 for 80 € at the electronics fair), only in 2017 I mamaged to get 2x256MB for it!
