Hello! I am having trouble turning on an ASUS P/I-P55T2P4 motherboard. Are there pins for a power switch? If so, does anyone know where the power switch goes for this type of motherboard? I can not find those pins any where in the manual. I have an ATX 20-Pin to AT P8+P9 6-Pin power adapter with "Push Power Button Wires", but I think boards usually have pins for a power switch. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Your board does not feature a power switch onboard as it predates ATX (by a few years or so I think).

Only the one on the adapter will work.

Awesome. Thanks so much for your reply. The adapter is these types of "Push Power Button Wires". Do you happen to know of a power switch that would fit these?

Any toggle switch with 6.3mm connectors will do. (Not sure if there exist adapters with 4.5mm connectors?)

The switching voltage is only 5V, so there are no safety concerns to be observed.

Great! Thank you so much for your help. I happened to have some 6.3mm connectors. I ordered a switch with leads, and I am planning on crimping the leads to the connectors. Hopefully, I will be able to power on the motherboard. I got a Socket 754 board up and running and I thought I had all this retro PC stuff figured out haha.
