This ^. I have a GTX960 and it works fine with a BenQ 4k 27" even with HDMI.It is a driver issue.....ohh and my HDMI cable is what they call a "Hdmi With Ethernet" type.
added: and I won't go deeper, anyone trying to run 4k video on XP is plain goofy. There are no 4k games for it, and unless you have eagle eyes you cannot read text when set as default at 4k on a 27"... 🤣

And do you get 30 or 60Hz at 4k? Not posted the news yet, see later...
