Motherboard is a Miata PCB-201s

There is a similar Motherboard with same chips (https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/tk-tk8 … d03-01#expchips) , but the BIOS image is only one for a 512 Kb EPROM. The motherboard I bought, has two sockets, probably to use two 256kb EPROMs. Can I use the EPROM of 512kb alone in the first socket?

you will need to split the bios image into two files, one for the odd bytes, and one for the even bytes.
one program to do this is Romwak https://github.com/freem/romwak/releases/tag/0.3c

Hello. I found this socket 7 board without any RAM or CPU. A sticker on the case indicates it originally came with a 100MHz Pentium. A sticker on the lowest ISA slot indicates 1995 manufacture date. The blue + white sticker near the cache has a pufferfish, which might indicate the manufacturer.

Seems to be Amptron PM-7500.

It is, and someone seems to have one with populated cache as well, according to this link.

Thank you. I'll read all the information from the given link later. As for the missing cache chips... first I have to get the board working - there are broken traces on the back and one PCI slot with broken plastics, not even counting the broken lever on the socket. So far it's one very broken board in need of repair 😀

It's the FA31 (says it on one of the white stickers in line with the ISA slot!)

Hello all, I'm trying to sort out the various jumpers on a PC Chips M601 VLB 486 mainboard - specifically version 1.0 - I've been able to find jumper info on the other variations 1.2, 1.3, etc. but anything on 1.0 has been conspicuously absent. Given that it's PC Chips, it's possible it may have been marketed under a different name which might be why it seems so obscure. The 1.0 board seems to have more in common jumper-wise with the 1.3 board than the 1.2 as the locations are similar even though the jumper numbers don't match. The cmos battery header and jumper for selecting an external battery ( pin 1-2 disables charging if you're replacing the old VARTA battery with a standard lithium) were similar too.
There's also a mysterious SIP header next to one of the ISA slots right above the JP5-8 jumpers that I'd love to know more about as it didn't reappear in the later board revisions.

Currently the board reports a clock speed of 66MHz and 256k of cache
I've got 64MB (16MB x4) 30-pin SIMMs installed for RAM and my Genoa 8500VL gpu on the #3 VLB slot.

Jumpers 9-10 I assume control cache size and 13-15 might be the CPU select jumpers.. My best guess on JP 5-8 would be something to do with bus speed selection.
