I got this card cheap recently, a faulty one though. I'm trying to fix it myself. The Win98 boot up music sounds like this with this card. I think it's a capacitor issue and am planning to recap it to see if that wound fix it. Now I have a headache choosing the proper capacitors. The caps used by this card are all from SAMWHA.
They are:
3 100µF 16V caps (SG Series - M8A)
3 10µF 35V caps (SS Series - M4A)
3 10µF 50V caps (SG Series - M3A)
3 10µF 50V caps (SG Series - M5A)
I don't know what's the meaning of that MxA part.

I think it's easier to recap mobos/video cards, but when it comes to audio related, the frequency characteristic matters. It's about the impedance/esr if I understand it correctly. I don't know if I should choose the caps which match these characteristics with the original ones. I can't find the exact info about those SAMWHA ones. Can someone shed some light on this, thanks.

Beside recapping, I'm really curious about the jumper configurations of this card. I can't find any document about this. I just want to know if I can bypass the amplifier by changing the jumper setting.

Here is another pic from internet which is more clearer. I upload it too in case it helps.
