I have been trying to get a contact email for the owner/webmaster of the site regarding a new PC Abandonware resource that is about to open. Would it be possible to get an email address ?
Many thanks in advance

Qbix is the owner though. So if you didn't receive anything this was on purpose.
if it's about endorsement of an oldwarez site such as an abandonware site i don't think that could happen imo.

Snover is the owner, although I look after it for him now.
abandonware on vogons is not possible.

Is there any way that an exchange of links could happen from www.dosbox.com instead then? Even just a title link ?
dosbox.com. I'm the owner of that. Abandonware is not recognised as legal status by me on dosbox.com. Hence I don't allow warez to be linked. So sorry, no link exchange with abandonware sites. The only games site actively linked is classicdosgames which hosts as far as I know no abandonware.

OK,
Thanks for letting me know, I understand. I will still link to your site if that is ok and recomend DOSBOX as the emulator of choice for PC games.
Thanks for the great work you guys all do. If you want you could post some good info and links for DOSBOX on my forums.
Regards

Not PC games, but DOS games. 😉
Needs still definition of 'DOS' for new PC users, though.
I'm not sure whether the DOSBox authors want to be pulled into the mud of ab' ware sites, when such sites links to DOSBox.
Klimawandel.
Well it's obvious Dosbox is going to be used with abandonware in 90%+ of all cases (if not more) - that's the nature of the internet - but since Dosbox is being used legitimately by companies still willing to sell their own games without having to rewrite them for Windows ... well it might put them off if they see that Dosbox supports abandonware which is not exactly legal.
Being linked to is fine and most appreciated. I just don't link back.
