First I have read the readme, and the section on keymapping and it consuses me to all end. I dont know my specs on my computer other than I have 128mb of onboard video, 1 gig ram, and 1.8 centrino processor. I have gotten Warcraft 2 to run fine, except for one thing......

I canot use certain shortcut keys. I can use Shift f1-f12 which remembvers positions on the map, but I cannot use any of the shortcuts that are cntrl-# or spacebar, I beleive this could be that Dosbox uses the control key for its special keys....... so how can I change the special keys to somthing else so Cntrl does not have any use inside the dosbox program but use for my Warcraft game? If you need any more information please ask for it.. I will gladly add to this.

Thanks for the tottaly inept reply, I said I have read the file, in fact I said that in the first 6 words, the readme is confusing and difficult and does not tell you how to map combinations where you have to hold down contrl...

Now, here's a daft guy. Mr. "Warcraft2lover", didn't you read the reply in the other thread? And may i direct your kind attention to this FAQ, again? Or may i suggest you press "F1" in the game, and then choose "Keystroke Help"?

All these resources, and the game manual too, will tell you, THAT THERE ARE NO CTRL-<NUMBER> OR SPACE SHORTCUTS IN THE GAME.

In case your mind is not able to cope with the overload of information above, i'll try it again, with a sentence that might be more suitable for your IQ:

GAME NOT LIKE CTRL-<NUMBER> AND SPACE KEY.

Well I did in fact read the other post which has informed me that there is another version out there , the battle.net version. I was unaware of it. it appears that the manual I downloaded for the game as the copy I recieved did not come with one, was for the battle.net and therefore it has those keystrokes, that I do not have. I did not need bashing about my intelect and therefore I will not sink to your level, just simply leave the forum knowing that not unlike most, poeople here are a just mean spirited, useless people. Good day.

Oh... We will miss you so much.

Seems my assessment of his IQ was right, after all. You just have to talk to the people in a language they understand. (:

Although he was a bit rude, he did seem to be able to converse in a relatively eloquent manner, as opposed to some of the idiots that post here from time to time. His conclusions were wrong of course, because although you and wd can be really mean spirited, I wouldn't call you useless 😀.
