DOSBox is close to being downloaded 10.000.000 times ! (total of all versions.)

(Un)fortunately the statistics of sourceforge are down until at least mid august (and have been for almost a month now).

To celebrate this event we have come up with a small contest.
Guess the right date (somewhere between 18 June and 15 August) and win a copy of Dune ("Sold out" edition CD-version). Send an email to contest@dosbox.com with your guess. The winner will be declared once the statistics of sourceforge are back online.

Thanks a lot for DosBox!
With dynamic core, fixed cycles and last but not least dos32a my Dos4GW games runs really fast with very low cpu usage.

Congrats to the DOSBox team, the CVS releasers, the front end makers and all the websites that generate all the interest/traffic.

DOSBox is one of the best things to come out of the emulation scene. Right up there with CCS64 and UAE.

I don't get that it happens today though as this is outside the contest boundaries.
My calculations before the contest indicated half july. Nevertheless I'm happy that we finally reached it!

those statistics are so messed up.
today: 10,204,306
last week: 27,948
that makes for 17 august: 10176358
So we reached it (much earlier). I'm afraid I have to randomly select a winner. Will do some more math though

21 july it is!
calculation statistics of today and then substract the amount dowloads each day until I drop below the 10.000.000
