Just had a quick look around to see if anyone has any hints on what to do to squeeze some extra FPS out of a 1.67ghz PowerPC G4 (PowerPC)

I've tried the command and conquer demo with Max CPU cycles and the Core set to auto and/or Dynamic, merged dos32a into game.dat (the game's 'exe') and I'm still not getting decent performance even when changing frameskip to anything from 1-10.

Is this all I'm going to get? I was hoping to be able to play a multiplayer game against another machine (PC) but it looks to be out of the question with this level of performance.

Dynamic core only works on x86/x64 platforms. Emulation is still slow on PCCs. Even the G5 runs DOSBox like a 386sx.

I thought that would be the case, just figured it was worth checking. I can run Warcraft 1 at good speed, that's about as far as I can push this thing.

On a side-note I've noticed that the CPU use on the machine itself never goes above about 70%, wonder if there's a way to squeeze out another 30% there?
