I have installed dosbox on a machine with Windows 7 Home premium 64b in order to use an old MS-dos application 32b. All work perfectly but for my work I need absolutely to select and copy text of this application. How can i do it? It is necessary. Thank you for your help.

You still won't be able to share the clipboard between the host OS and DOSBox.

the program will probably work in dosbox
but selecting and copying text not.
If you want the contents of the screen, take a screenshot

Sounds like only copying out of DOSBox is needed, not pasting into. If so, you could use a resident DOS program that can capture the text on the screen to a file, then you can open the file in Notepad or whatever and copy what is needed into the clipboard.

Yes i don't need to paste into...I need to select the text and then copy in my notes. Is this possible with DosBox in any way?

Does DOSBox support pipes? Does your program support redirection with pipes?

E.g. dir > content.txt

and to make it even more obscue, you could make a screenshot in dosbox and use an OCR program to read the text out of the picture. If that works you could probably script it via autohotkey or something like that 😀
