If you try to install SimCity 2000 under DOSBox, it crashes the entire application (DOSBox, not the game) at the end of the installation process.

I have confirmed this too with a v1.1 CD-ROM version installer, but at the BEGINNING of the install process.

Maxis's setup program seems badly coded.

I agree, but it does work in DOS, so I'd imagine that it's the goal to have it also work in DOSBox - compatibility and all that. 😀

I have the CD v1.1 and the installer completes without error. I was using normal core, if that makes any difference.

hmm, odd. MY installer is dated Sept. 1994, what's yours?
