after checking http://www.dosbox.com/information.php?page=0 I coulnd't realize it was ONLY for GAMES.

H-a-l mounting floppy is only 1.44
CNC software is way larger and I was trying to emulate dos on a PC which has usb slot or an ethernet to get drawings or files with HPGL over network. Thank you for your time but I will try to find another emulator or try it by myself since this subject goes nowhere.
But tbh I appreciate the good work with dosbox.

Jesus man. I would either upgrade the CNC software or use FreeDOS. DOSBox wasn't made to run DOS hardware device drivers...

Half of the hardware devices you are talking about do not even exist on modern PC hardware. I do not have a 1.44 floppy drive, nor serial and parallel ports. It's all USB.

You can also mount hard disk images. Check the documentation.
