Hi, I have been trying to run the 3DFX mode of Screamer 2 but it throws me this message when I run it (see attachment), dosbox main screen stays black and after a while it just crashes.

I'm using the gulikoza's build, tried changing some settings but no cigar.

Any help will be appreciated.

EDIT: Screamer 2 normal mode (either startl.exe or starth.exe) works great, but not the Glide mode which I'm trying to use.

that looks like a soundcard error
does screamer 2 come with setsound.exe (cant remember)

ps:
Update Screamer 2 with the 1.11 patch and then the 3dfx patch.

Yeah, setup.exe, however I've already tried changing the sound setup but no dice.

Also as I said before, this doesn't happen with the game's original executable(s), but only with the 3Dfx patched one.

EDIT: Will try that patch.
EDIT2: Didn't work, same error 🙁 but thanks regardless.

Well, I've been reading some threads today but none helped me (thats why I registered in the first place)

Also, I just got it to work (reinstalled it completely with the gulizoka's build), but it freezes on the "intro" now. 🙁

in the other thread people seem to have it working in xp (dosbox only needed to install)
