Windows version works fine with ACT.
Yes, it’s my fault.

In any event, Basilisk II won't support the game, as the game's website claims it REQURES a PPC cpu, which Basilisk II doesn't emulate.
What would be better would be something akin to Mac-On-Linux, ported to MacOSX. Then, he could load a different MacOS, and the PPC would be virtually emulated (or something).
See here:

Or maybe if he installed Linux on his G3/G4 whatever he has, and then installed MOL. Or something.
Still, it would be just as complicated as getting the source code and porting the game. Maybe a little less.

Certainly an impressive looking system. Now if only it'd be ported to Windows...

No, my Baslisk runs fine on XP. What I meant was it needs updates (Enhancements to audio emulation, resolution change without shutdown, etc...).

Do you know of a Windows PPC version that I don't know about?
MOL REQUIRES running native on a PPC processor-based system. Or (probably) an emulated one.
So you're back to square one.
Edit: Oh hell, I forgot about Windows NT 4.0 for PPC-based systems.
That would still require having a PPC-based system, though.
Hey, check out my posting here:

Debunking folks who say the PPC chip hasn't been emulated yet.
Note: the thread's broken, so don't post any replies...

Uh, what the hell exactly is a PPC? I thought it was just a 68k with an FPU.

Not a concern at the moment as it was also released for Win9x.

It's a concern for Wanagawachipi... but as I said, I think his best compatibility method would be LinuxPPC on his Mac, and then MOL, with multiple MacOS's installed...

I guess I should have clarified:
Not a concern at the moment for Windows people, as it was also released for Win9x.
I had already said earlier:
Looks like Mac people are going to need a "self-contained" PowerMac emulator to run their stuff...and soon.

Don't be too sure. I've heard this song before...
I'm afraid that PPC emulation will show up about the same time as a new Amiga computer (which were also promised year after year).
P.S. I'm not counting the Amiga PPC's here, as they were basically PowerPC's that ran an emulated Amiga on them. Not the same...
