I've tried

mount a a:\ -t floppy
mount b b:\ -t floppy (I have a SuperDisk drive as my B drive)
mount a c:\ -t floppy
etc, etc.

and it only mounts the drive as a local directory. This prevents Dynamix's "Smart Start" installer from recognizing that it is on a floppy and giving me the option to copy the game (being Rise of the Dragon, on six floppies) to the Hard Drive.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I don't know why it is, but it should work.

mount a a:\ -t floppy

real floppy mounting is not supported.
Next version probably.

mounting a floppy as -t floppy enables some fake replys for installers.
But if they do real low level stuff..... then you are out luck till next version.

I can use the "mount a a:\ -t floppy" above, but when trying to install Minitab, I can read a:\, but then it doesn't know I have a hard drive even thought DosBox has C:\ mounted. Any clues?

Oh, that explains it. Well then I eagerly await the next version!

Thanks!
