All of my old games work fine with dosbox (king's quest series, space quest series), except for KQ3. The video is there, but it's really messed up. For instance, pieces of the picture are in parts of the screen that they shouldn't be in, and the sound is odd as well.

Any ideas?

What version of King's Quest 3 do you have? There are different versions which may create different problems.

Hmm, I'm really not sure. I downloaded it from www.xtcabandonware.com There's no readme file, nor can I find a version number
