Hi I am having some problems when I come to try to set Dosbox to opengl or ddraw.

I have two monitors one running off a 3DLabs Oxygen VX1 the other off a S3 Savage4 PCI. If I try to run dosbox on the VX1 then it crashes in ddraw or opengl - the screen temporarily goes black then dosbox closes down.

So I changed my primary adapter to be the savage 4 - theroetically a worse card. In ddraw dosbox works fine. This is the really wierd bit - In opengl if the shortcut I double click on is on the VX1 screen dosbox will work fine, if it is on the savage 4 screen the screen is all covered in coloured squares!

Any ideas how I can get dosbox working with the VX1 and why the shortcut location should matter?

First of all i think you should check whether dosbox works correctly when you use only one card and monitor. Later check only the second card and monitor.

With only the VX1 Dosbox still crashes. With the Savage 4 the screen filles with the coloured squares

Sounds like 3DLabs' drivers suck. Always, S3 just plain sucks.
