I'd be interested to see if this was stable under load and what the core temperature reached to confirm.

Yeah, the card still works. It's in storage at the moment. I did use it for a few months without issues. I took precautions with extra air flow and cooling inside the case, even though the card seems over engineered with its own single-slot cooler.
This is the GT model, an underclocked Ultra, and it easily overclocked to Ultra speeds and beyond.

It is stable under load. The only time it wasn't was when using a PIII Tualatin at 150MHz FSB - I ran 3DMark 2001 with infinite loop, and it would lock-up after an hour or so. I don't remember its temperatures, but when I did check, they were more than reasonable. Otherwise, alarm bells would've rang due to me being paranoid about these things.

Too bad I didn't buy the card...
I guess I will just stick with the Geforce 4 Ti 4600 then...
