Didn't see any discussion of this yet. The source codes to MS-DOS 1.2 & 2.0 are now up on Github under a permissive MIT license rather than the "research and study only" restriction they had before. Pretty neat!
I'm not sure these ancient versions have much to offer for projects like DOSBox, but maybe they'd be useful for fixing specific incompatibilites in early-era software, or dedicated 8088 emulation. Would love to see 6.2 get open-sourced.
