Hi.
This is my main retro-PC.
The initial target was to use one of the latest Pentium 4 to play games under Windows XP 32 bits. This is the short description, in more detail I was want to use the last hardware with the combination of Pentium 4, AGP bus (no PCI-E), IDE (no SATA), floppy connector, BIOS (no EFI), etc...
I think that this architecture represents the final of 32 bits era.
Although finally some of these aspects are not fully faithful, for example, the CPU use Hyper-Threading or the mainboard supplies SATA connectors.
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 @ 3.4GHz. [2004]
Mainboard: ASRock P4i65G
RAM: 2GB (2x1GB Kingston DIMM).
SOUND: Sound Blaster Live!
FDD: NEC 3,5"
IDE 1: Samsung 250GB 7200 RPM IDE Samsung.
IDE 2: Western Digital 500GB 7200 RPM.
NET: Gigabit Realtek PCI adapter.
DVD: Samsung DVDRW.
GPU: GeForce 7950 GT. [2006] It needs a fully cap replacement
PSU: New Corsair VS550.
Chassis: New Nox CoolBay MX2
CPU Fan: Cooler Master.
OS: Windows XP 32 bits.
This PC was built in 2017.
