I measured the temps on a voodoo 3 some while back, and from what I recall, the heatsink was as hot as the back of the card, which I'm not sure suggests very good thermal transfer as far as the heatsink is concerned. But who knows.

Timing indeed. I took the plunge today and ordered this guy for $40 usd. First Voodoo I've owned. Putting it in a PIII Tualatin build I am working on. Any links for good thermal solutions?

So it will stay with thermal adhesive? Any brand better than others? I see pinks and blues etc...

For comparison, here's an OEM version.

I recently picked up a Voodoo 3 1000 with the 5.5ns RAM because I was curious about overclocking. I added a small heatsink and fan of course, and I got it to run stable at 160MHz.
Can anyone else share their top stable overclock speed for the 125MHz V3 1000?
