Hello. I'd be interested in hearing what you all think is good FM video game music. I and others may want to discover something cool that we may have never heard before.

I'll start off with two songs. Both are from T&E Soft Megadrive golf games. They made four of them for the Megadrive and I think all of them have extremely underrated OSTs.

Ah, yeah. I actually played Cyber Block Metal Orange (PC-98) and Gauntlet IV (Genesis) quite recently and thought the music in both were very good. Didn't actually know they were composed by the same guy until now.

All of those are very good, though I do actually prefer the PC Engine OST of Devil's Crush.

Just remembered that I should mention Matt Furniss. The majority of his work for Genesis games like Mickey Mania, Legend of Galahad, etc. is really good, imo.

I always thought the FM music from Wing Commander I and II and Ultima Underworld I and II were really well done.

I'll checkout the PC Engine version. Its sound chip, IIRC, isn't FM-based but sample-based.

Another megadrive OST:

BTW, Sega liked Yamaha sound chips and used a YMF292 in the Saturn. IIRC, this chip was capable of FM synthesis and sample-based synthesis. Anyone know which games used FM?
