Short disclaimer: I'm not sure if this is the right place to post such a topic, so if a different board is more fitting, let me know.

Now, as for the actual post:

I'm trying to figure out how to get .aud files to play with Winamp. Specifically, the .aud files that come with the game King's Quest 8 - Mask of Eternity.

Any ideas what bitrate, or internal sound format the aud files are in, by any chance?

Also try VGMStream, which comes as both a command line app and various player plugins.
