I kind of hope you still drop in once in a while, but I totally understand if real life gets in the way. Best of luck!

Good to see you again.
I've also started to realise that I've been posting less here but, I do still read the topics that interests me and, on occasion, I will post something.
I've found this forum to be quite a nice resource for information and also to sometimes refresh my own memory 😀

It's the opposite actually. It leads to dead links since you can't view a removed user's profile or search only their posts for information.
If you feel you have learned from this forum, leave your posts easily accessible for others to do the same.
Deactivate =\= delete.

Nice to hear from you again.
Life? Don't talk to me about life.

It sure does.... I have not been using vintage x86 stuff for the last 4 months or so. Been diving into Commodore64 and Amiga. I have no real interest in x86 platform as of now, just C64 and Amiga.

brostenen: you are an alright human being , sorry that I am not assuming your gender. After all we have to a bit political correct. But seriously though I some times do not post much either. But it is better to know you have a place, where you can help out. Than deactivating your account (yes I have seen you are back). But remember we all get knocked down, and we get up again 😉 😀 personally I was in a VERY depressive state back in 2015, but I got up again thanks to help from people that I am grateful for 😀 When I lost my mother in 2016, I promised myself, not to go below the floor. But when I got knocked down, I got up again 😀 But remember sometimes it is great to get away, and get to a place where everybody knows your name 😀

Thanks. Well... The thing about autism spectrum, is that there are really no place, were everybody knows your name, unless it is family only. Why and how are hard to explain. Something-something with people not wanting to know you, because you are socially "strange" and come off as a odd fellow.
And it is perfectly fine and ok with me. I have had the last 37 years to get used to it. 😀

Autism is something a I know a lot about because I have it too. And as I said, you are a cool human being 😀

It is kinda paradoxal, imo.
My sister wanted to learn to understand me, but when I started covering territory unknown to her, she got that blanc stare in her face. Most people do. And then I'm supposed to be the one without empathy 🤣.
Kinda funny what you mention about 2015 WolverineDK, as 2015 was perhaps one of my most shittiest years ever and one of my best years ever at the same time. It was 2016 that was the real killer, by far my worst year since adolescence and I went neck-deep. 2017 was actually also shit with several deaths but ironically it was still a better year. Been rebuilding/restructuring ever since and my life has again taken a totally different turn like it always does every x years. Also I removed certain toxic people from my life (including certain family members). Good riddance too, if you ask me 😎
All in order to increase stability.
Right now I'm (amongst other things) contemplating to learn Danish, actually. At the very least on a very basic level. (kinda a long story).
I would recommend you not delete your account or otherwise self-restrict your access to it. I got accounts going back to the early 2000s and it's a bit like a timemachine or something and I'm glad it's still available even though I don't really need it anymore.
And I still have this feeling that I'm not fully done with this hobby, yet. But right now I have other priorities and my to-do list is quite a long one.
I've always enjoyed reading your post and learning of your most recent adventures 😀
Feel free for either of you 2 to shoot me a PM if you want to talk about your issues. It's not for vogons but that subject is actually one of my other uhm...specialities 🤣
I'll cya around Brostenen 😀
