What are the best jumper settings for this Sound Blaster Pro 2.0 ( CT1600 ) ?
Basically ( DMA and DRQ and DACK ) .

IMHO the best practice is to have Soundblaster at address 220, IRQ 5 and DMA channel 1 as this is what most sw defaults to.
Whether you want to have game port enabled or not is your choice.
IRQ 7 was actually the default. IRQ 5 came in use later to not block the printer port (which became important with Win 3.x).
I think Creative changed the default from 7 to 5 at about time of SB Pro 2.0.
As you say IRQ7 is shared with parallel port which might be a problem or not as it is usually not used at the same time.
On the other hand IRQ5 was not free on IBM PC-XT due to MFM/RLL disk controller which was not relevant any more in 90's so they switched.
Either 7 or 5 is quite safe IMHO
IRQ 7 for early titles. IRQ 5 for newer titles.

The best jumper settings? Um, what that doesn't conflict with other stuff in your computer, man.
At that time, standard settings were 220h, IRQ 7, DMA 1. The rest it up to you. I mean, for stuff like Joystick enable/disable, there's no "best setting".
What is the speaker connector pin-out for this card ?
My speaker wire from CD-ROM drive only has 3 wires.
Red, black, white.
What is pin 1,2, 3, 4
Which is left and right and ground ?

The best setting are the one the software require to be able to run. An setting is just a setting. And all you need to avoid, are adress conflicts. The same goes for the DMA and the IO.

Ooops...🤣
IRQ7 is always used for Parallel ports so should be avoided unless you disable it. Is why most back in the day used IRQ5 for SB ISA sound cards as we had old printers that needed the PPort.
Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
If you don't use the printer port though I think IRQ 7 is better because some older titles use IRQ 7 automatically while in newer titler you usually can choose what IRQ the title uses. On the other hand if you don't play such older titles IRQ 5 is good.
