Hi,

Did someone have this wavetable?

I'm rebuilding a compaq Presario 6710 and as I understand the wavetable is somewhat proprietary? Did someone have more information about that? Did someone know how this wave table sound like?

Thanks for your helps.

It uses a standard wave table header, same pinout as something you'd find on most sound cards of the era. In my Compaq Presario 9232, it also references the optional ESS wave table Compaq Part# 213858-001. I couldn't find one anywhere so I just installed a Dreamblaster S1. Sounds great.

That interesting, what I've readed is that the wavetable pinout was somewhat proprietary. I'm glad to hear I can't can use other wavetable.

I'm also looking for one but they seen nearly impossible to find. I've got a place they was suposed to have one but when I've bought it (only) they updated they listing and they say to me they dont have it anymore. 🙁

Edit : 🤣 I think wiretap undestand I have made a typo ... I wouldn't be glad if i CAN'T use another wavetable
