Hello,
I hope somebody can help me. I noticed the optical drive in my retro pc doesn't read audio cds. When I use the cd-player in Windows 98 it just skips trough the songs without doing anything. It's a TEAC DV-W522GMA (IDE), it says TEAC but I think it's just a rebranded Lite-On model. Everything is connected properly and the drive reads normal data discs without problems. Anybody having a clue what the problem could be? I had some trouble with the sound card, maybe something from the driver missing?
