It's usual for an app running for the first time on macOS X to ask for permission to use some of the computer resources.

DOSBox asks for permission to receive keystrokes when it first runs. But even after granting it the required permission, it keeps asking for it every single time it runs! Is this a bug in the macOS version?

I've experienced this problem with versions 0.74-2 and 0.74-3.

It's actually a bug in the SDL library that Dosbox relies on. You can always deny it but yes, it's annoying ;(
