Hello,

Just acquired this microatx motherboard:
http://www.ascendtech.us/foxconn-661fxme-es-d … x661fxmees.aspx

It is the same but mine has sata ports.

Seems a pretty common one, but I am realizing I might be the only one who have it on the planet.
Apart Ascendtech page I was not able to find anything related, no manual, no bios, no further info.

And the bios splash screen has a big logo:

"DEDEM" (after a search it appears it is an italian company of automatic passport photo machines)

Any ideas?

I found that page, but the motherboard has printed:
661M04-G-6ELS
Is not exactly the same, or am I wrong?

Plus, I have two sata ports.

No idea and I feel it would be sensible to check what the SMBIOS reports the board as. I would use my SIV utility and see what the [Machine] panel reports .

Many Foxconn boards were built for OEM market or specific for a retail company, have a few HP, Dell and others built by them.
Finding good info on true Foxconn branded is very hard !

After digging thru Foxconns website, the only SIS chip socket 478 boards with SATA are the SiS655FX + 964 series (655A01-FX-6ELRS, 655A01-FX-6LRS and 655M01-FX-6LRS)

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

According to Foxconn, the 661FXME is also known as the 661FXME-ES (suspect the ES will be the SATA option).

As most of these boards are using the SIS driver packages anyway, why not download them directly from SIS (there is a v4.11a SATA RAID pack available)

So I guess I can screw it if I try to update the bios.
I want to use that sata ports.
Better if I do not touch it.
