Hello guys,

There is no sound coming out of my Libretto 70CT's internal speaker. The headphone jack is working fine though. I disconnected the internal speaker and measured its impedance. The multimeter read zero resistance, so it seems the speaker is dead.

I searched ebay and some other spareparts sites, but couldn't find a replacement. The speaker is a very thin with numbers, read: 941-503 and 9747, printed on its back. Any suggestion please for a replacement or possible fix?

Thank you

The speaker is 23mm in diameter and 3mm in height. I found a similar one at mouser.com, part number SW230704-1, but one millimeter higher. I hope this difference won't be a problem during installation.

I found this in my collection, not sure if it's compatible with Libretto.

Size is 20mm x 2.2mm (height close to 3mm with soldering part).

The size is good, but not sure if it's going to work. The only way to know that is to try it with the original computer. If you can ship it to Delaware, US, then please send me a message (I tried to message you but this feature hasn't been enabled for my account yet).
