I've recently picked up a second hand Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback Wheel which is in very good condition, the original joystick/MIDI connector version rather than USB.
It was one of those pieces of hardware I used to drool over as a kid, but couldn't afford to splash out on. So the purchase was purely nostalgia driven.
I've connected it up to my 200MHz MMX Packard Bell running Windows 95 and have successfully tested it out through the calibration software.
It came with a copy of Monster Truck Madness 2 which I took for a quick spin and worked reasonably well.
What I'd really like to know is what are the recommended games that will really take advantage of this hardware for my 200MHz era machine?
Reading the list at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PC_game … _support#Racing shows quite a few modern era games. Although the earlier Need For Speed games would run on the PC.
Please give me your recommendations!
