Well, good luck with the FA411, they do pop up a few times per year on ebay so keep an eye out for it...
You can also have a service like lazyperks watch ebay for you 24/7 and have it send you an email if one pops up.

I did not manage to find a working SCSI-2 PCMCIA card unfortunately as it seems (after examining the assembly source code for lxcic.exe, SCSI PCMCIA cards aren't supported),
so your only option is to find a parallel port card and use a parallel SCSI adapter like in my SCSI video on my channel.

Besides the Quatech SPP-100 parallel port card, there is also the Trans Digital parallel port PCMCIA card. (I have both cards)
Note that the Quatech supports Enhanched mode, so it's faster, but in practice it does'nt make much difference as the 200LX is'nt fast enough to use it...

Yours,
Terrence

Thank you! I purchased a BUFFALO LPC2-T without a dongle and made one per the guide on http://labs.cexx.org/dongle.htm. I am glad to report that it works! I bought this card because I vaguely remember seeing it was actually Accton en2216 under different branding on some Japanese source. Being afraid of breaking my home-brewed undetachable dongle, I just purchased another one on Yahoo to have a dongle…
Nonetheless... another option of NIC for the 100LX/200LX owners nowadays!

Nice to hear things worked out and you've got a working NIC 😀

Now you can start playing with mTCP 😀

Cheers,
Terrence

Greetings:
Being interested in the REX PIM, I noticed a program called HP2REX, which can sync HP200LX with REX-3. Do you have any idea if it would work with REX 5000/ REX 6000?
Many thanks.

Don't have a clue...
I have a REX somewhere, buried somewhere in a bunch of cardboard boxes from my last house move.
Not sure which model it is, but it's one of the older models that does'nt allow for data entry and a touchscreen...

You'll have to try it 😀
I would assume it should work, but I'm just speculating.

Cheers,
Terrence

Thanks for your reply! If I can reach an agreement with the seller, I may pick one up soon...

Ayy, another good news for any 200lx/100lx owners reading this: I just confirmed that BUFFALO LPC3-clt also works! I love its dongle-less design, just like the Netgear FA-411, and Buffalo is much easier to get hands-on with in Asia.

Great, I'll take a note of the compatibility of that NIC...
