No luck finding a Recovery CD for this particular model either.
I did find https://archive.org/details/PCG-C1M-SOFT but I still need a few misc items from sonyvaiodriver.com like the BIOS update.

On the same boat as you as I'm trying to find the latest BIOS update and software for my VAIO VGC-RB30, as referenced in http://sonyvaiodriver.com/category/sony-vaio- … c-rb30-drivers/.
Recovery CDs are not shipped with the system with the user being asked to make their own... so there's less chance of finding one.
