And I'm glad I got a small stash of those Voodoo 3's while they were still easy and cheap to get (and easy to get cheaply).
In NL the Voodoo 3 2000 was mostly PCI and Voodoo 3 AGP there were many Voodoo 3 2000 in AGP form, but it seems I concentrated on getting the 3000 variants (and any PCI version as I figured PCI graphics cards from that era are a good thing to have anyway).

V3. 1999... To me it seems as a lot of people think it's the ultimate 90's card. It's not. Sometimes a V2 is what you need. I think it's the same with soundcards. The ultimate simply does not excist. 😉

It wasnt really cheap, because it add extra customs fee to it. I have waited from the start to get one.. And i havent been on ebay for some days, and this card showed up.
I could leave it on ebay, or grab this one chance to get it.. What makes up my mind was this item is included with box and complete manual.. So it was very hard to leave it on ebay.
I know this card cant support bigger harddisks. But i was not intended too. A big harddisk makes an XT some what slow.. Probably till 100 - 150MB drive is good enough for me as max.
So a 55MB drive should be fine as well.

Does anybody knows if the D16 chip has an interchangeable counter part?

A big harddrive does not make the XT slow. It's just XT's are naturally slow and take time to calculate all disk space. It's not a big problem after the first calculation. I have a 750MB partition on my Turbo XT and it's pretty acceptable. But considering i'm using a lotech 8bit adapter + CF Card it helps a lot, compared to an old drive. My Turbo XT is pretty cool as it is (which reminds me i gotta update the thread) but i've gotta try a 120GB SSD or something, just for fun. 😎

That card is interesting, it shows the effort to try and keep XT systems somewhat relevant maybe as very entry level machines circa 1988 - 1989.

Just won this Midi Card on eBay. Don't own any midi card's and would like to get some sort of Midi module in the future. Ended up winning it for £5 plus shipping which i'm not sure is a good price or not?

According to the picture its a Music Quest IH9MQ9 midi card with a midi cable. Its missing the back plate but i'm sure i can fashion something up out of a blank plate.

Bought another Thinkpad, this time a 380XD. P266MMX, 96MB, unknown HDD (not a problem), 800x600TFT. Audio is a CS4237 so should have decent compatibility with DOS games. Should be fun.

It's a great looking board, it'll make a fantastic late era DOS/Win9x gaming platform. I get around 100fps on Duke 3D at 1024x768 with my Tualatin 1.4GHz and Geforce 6800 on a similar Apollo 133T board. VIA chipsets are not my favourite, but if you set up the 133T properly, it's very stable and fast. Try populate the ram slots with double sided dimms and enable memory interleaving in the BIOS, it makes a big difference to the speed. Also do the usual memory timing optimisations and VIA 4-in-1 drivers and it should fly.

Yes I did. I never had a non-Intel s370 board and was aching to try it.

Considering the odd clockspeed, which makes it quite slower than IBM PC's, unless it does something special, it is like you say a collector's item and an oddity. Someone could be very interested in it eventually, but shipping these machines can be very expensive.
