I have this Belkin. It's not perfect and I find I have to dick around with the vga cables occasionally to get rid of an artifact here or there, but it's definitely not smeared shit, though that's a somewhat low bar to clear. I'm positive if I had two identical monitors side by side that there'd be a difference being such a cheapo brand but it punches above its weight IMO.
