Ok so I set the iPad up (minimally). The screen is not as good as the 5th gen mini. Is that to be expected? Is the 5th screen superior? The Pro's isn't bad. The only photo I have to view at the moment is a photo of the background of an old Samsung tablet, which I snapped a photo of with both iPads. The Mini's is significantly better. Much snappi3r. It's what I'll have to live with I guess until I buy a new Air/Pro. I think I can wait.
Maybe the pixels will liven as I run the thing more. And even though the battery says 100%, the unit dies after a minute when unplugged. oh well.
All in all this was not a bad purchase. These 13" iPads are truly psyk and kantankerous devices. I imagine I will be buying more. The 11" base iPads are 279$. If they drop the price at all, I'll probably buy 1 as backup. I'll probably sell the mini, not sure yet. I started this journey by attempting to buy a 9th gen ipad on best buys site (199$). It sold out on me. Then they got.them back in for like an hour. Sold.out again. So cheap, but I'm better off buying something newer (when buying a new ipad that is). This pro set me back 132$. 15$ for the charger. No regrets currently.
