i seen another member running pretty same results. Its possible with good WB.

Here is my setup. AMD 5x86 @ 160 MHz. L1 and L2 (256KB) WB working. Rev 2.0 board. Booting to SDCard (512MB) via VLB IDE controller or 2GB SDCard with XTIDE. I uploaded the WB patched BIOS from feipoa to TRW (https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/asus-v … -486sv2gx4#bios) last week.

One thing to note; I’ve never got a IDE CDROM to work with this board. I’ve tried the second IDE port on the VLB controller, a Creative CT1870 and a IDE port on a Aztech sound card. In all situations, when the CDROM driver loads, lights blink on the CDROM but the drive is never detected.
