Good afternoon. I didn't have a CPU stable enough to run at 2266MHz (133 x 17) and there were no other configurations other than ones using the 100MHz FSB setting that worked stably for me (unless I did the reset trick in the first post, which I wasn't willing to put up with long term).

So I decided to put the board back to standard and run with the XP2000 Instead for the time being. I may revisit it someday, if I can find an XP-M barton.

BUT! It also occurs to me, if you have an XP-M processor, you should be able to increase multiplier in software with SETMUL?

Hi! As I understand it, I did the right. I haven't launched it yet, I want to try it tomorrow. I want to run it on x16 first, then on x16.5. let's see if it's stable, if so, I'll try x17, but it's not so critical for me, I have an idea to do the project the other way around. Try to create a program to lower the multiplier and frequency of the bus, as well as trott at the end after disabling the caches.

Yes it looks correct from what I can see.

Good luck with it! At least by using some wires you can add a switch or jumper to enable/disable it.

As I said at the start of the thread. I got no POST unless I set the multiplier at 17x133 or I used 100MHz FSB.

Unfortunately, I was unable to achieve stable operation on a 133-megahertz bus. As for the multipliers, I initially tried to use a 24x system, but it was not stable. I then lowered it to 23x, and it seemed to be working, but there was still something wrong. I checked it in Unreal, and there were occasional crashes, which could be due to power supply issues. There was an option to put it on 22x (unfortunately, there is no 21x there), but I decided to give up on this idea as well, because I didn't really want to be an overclocker, as my case is quite compact and has poor cooling (the case from the HP Pavilion 8565C is stylish and fashionable 😀), so I decided to stop at 20x, which results in 2000 megahertz, which is generally sufficient for me (it will work better than any Tualatin-s 1400). I also reduced the power supply to a minimum of 1.5 volts

P.S. I'm waiting for 2 1024MB DIMMs to be sent to me, so I'll have 2GB of memory (apparently, the BIOS has a limit, as the KT133A and its Intel 694x(t) counterpart worked stably with 3GB on my p3v4x). All of this, combined with the Geforce 6800 gt ultra and the industrial ssd samsung sm883, should make for an excellent retro build. Awe64 legacy is also coming soon, which will be installed for the GM X2GS se and the Pi zero 2w emulator for old games, all on the same card with a single ISA.

p.p.s I decided to put a 17x on a 133, in theory the temperature should increase by 13%, I will hope that my compact case will pull it. In theory, performance should increase by 25%-30% due to the change in tire size from 100 to 133, so let's see...

I made a table of jumpers by multiplier, maybe someone will find it useful.
