What a night.... Too much to drink. So much that I began getting headaches before I was sober.
Waited two hour's in pain, in the biting cold for the first bus to start operating in 2016.

My girl and I was at this rock-bar, drinking. Nearly all that was there, were alternatives in their lifestyle.
Longhaired, longbearded metal-heads everywere. Woman with piercings and corsets everywere.
Loud trash-metal and other type of metal being played. Sepultura and such.
Everyone drinking an extra beer, whenever motorhead was being played. R.I.P. Lemmy.
I was amoungst equals that night. And the best part. two out of ten metalheads are into retro-computing.

Yeah RIP Lemmy. I'm a metalhead too. I remember back when i was 15 yo and started to learn to play guitar. Got all the sheet music for the first 5 Metallica albums. Learned all the rhythm guitars and all the leads. After lunch i would start playing along with Kill 'em All i would finish nearly at 19pm with Black Album.

Now i listen to Dream Theater more than anything else as you can see from my avatar. And they have a big concept album to release January the 29th so 2016 is gonna be exciting for me music wise.

During the night, there was just this single longhaired dude on the dancefloor.
He was headbanging on his own. So yeah.... I joined him. Yeah. Fun.

The alternatives are a bunch of great retro-computing and video game playing crowd. I know a lot too. Not all of them are into retro like us. But when I mention old video game consoles, old sound cards and so forth. They begin to smile with a very wide grin in the most loving way, cause in fact it is not their hairstyle, musical and what not that makes whom they are. It is what they have inside 😀 The one who broke my heart, she was one of the alternatives. But as I said, 2015 ended on a VERY positive note because of other stuff happened . Which made me smile and become very happy indeed 😀

I personally like everything from classical music to Heavy Metal .

I had a nice conversation with one dude, and he mentioned that he has a much loved Amstrad CPC. Then I grabbed my phone and punched in "vogons.org" and he was like surprised and stuff. He did not know this site. Then I punched in "amibay.com" when he talked about were to buy old games. He was then even more surprised. Yeah... I did a god deed that night. 😁

Yes you did indeed 😀 Heck I found by chance some months ago, that some folks I talked to that evening were members of another forum. That I am also a member off(a console forum), yes I am a member of quite a forums. But damn you can not judge a book by the cover 😀
