Could you please share what parameters they are with so I can do the same?
In general, from what I read below, it was not very clear to me what this mod was made for?!
Also, tell me what those pins to the left of the keyboard slot are soldered to!?
Shouldn't there be a slot (DIN5) for a mouse by design?

it's been several years and I do not have that mobo anymore but the parts with the dots need to be added to get a working ps/2 mouseport
the pins are soldered directly on the mobo - typically AT cases do not have an extra hole for the mouse connector so with the pins one can use a classic ps/2 mouse bracket instead.
the values of the components are stated in the 1st post of this thread - is there something unclear?

Hi freesofia. I have the same Soyo SY-4sa2 (4sa5) motherboard. The motherboard had a faulty EPROM, I replaced it with an EEPROM. There are 3 bios for this motherboard, the newest one is SA-0730. I have used this site for bios.

My experience is that 4SAW (https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/soyo-sy-4saw#bios) BIOSes work just as good as 4SA BIOSes on that board. Be aware that the latest revision of that BIOS (WA0911) breaks VL support. It configures the chipset into a mode that doesn't support VL slots, so the broken VL support is not due to a hardware difference between the 4SA and the 4SAW, but genuinely due to a bug in the BIOS.
