I don't see why not. I'm not aware of any issues with MVSound.sys on a Pentium class computer. I used to use my PAS Studio in a 486SX, which was low-end contemporary when the Studio package came out. Might have had it in a DX2/66 for a while before I got an AWE32.

I was not able to get my PAS16 working in a Pentium 3 (440BX) system but it works fine in my 386sx and 486DX2. There may be an upper limit to system speed

Could it be that the PC has timing issues, maybe ? That's no offense.
The PAS16 came out in 386/486 times when mainboards had the usual industry standard stuff still.
- Correctly working ISA OSC signal, -5v via PSU, no enhanced V86, no ACPI/APIC, just MS-DOS 5.x/6.x or DR-DOS 6.0 (no Win9x/DOS7).. 😉
That was when things like "snooping" the PC-Speaker audio via ISA still worked (PAS16 does that on old PCs or so I heard).

Yeah I've found the PAS16 to be flaky in faster machines, i.e. 200MHz +

The software installer takes ages to 'analyse the system' and I recall some funky behaviour in Network Q rally for example.
