I dont't know if you've figured it out, but i managed to get it working with an older version of the packet driver. The v2.0c driver works out of the box with the /r /t switches. I was using the 5.something driver and it just crashed everytime, now it works like it should and is stable.

Hello, I know this is an older thread, but can someone save me from myself here. I've google-fu'd for 3 hours and I cannot find version 2.0c of the 3COM Packet Driver (3c90xpd.com ?).

I have a 3Com Etherlink 100 PCI 3C905-TX card that I'm trying to get working under mTCP in DOS. All I can find is the 3Com EtherLink PCI Bus Master Packet Driver v5.2.6, which does detect the NIC properly but DHCP hangs and it will not do anything. This sounds exactly like what's happening in this thread. The 5.2.6 driver worked fine with my previous 3C905C-TX-M card.

Can someone point me to v2.0c or any version of the packet driver that works with the 3C905-TX card?

Thank you.

Re: mTCP hangs..

Excellent, thank you. I completely missed that post. That .rar file does indeed contain the 3C90XPD.COM (v2.0c) packet driver!
